Dinámica familiar y manifestaciones de depresión en escolares de 13 a 15 años de edad / Family dinamycs and manifestations of depression in schoolchildren aged 13 to 15 years old

RESUMEN

Objetivo: determinar la asociación entre la dinámica familiar y las manifestaciones de depresión de los escolares de 13 a 15 años de edad en el colegio ®Vista Alegre 3088¼ Zapallal en el distrito de Puente Piedra, Lima, en el año 2009. Material y métodos: Estudio descriptivo, de corte transversal, con una muestra de 152 escolares de 13 a 15 años, que cumplieron los criterios de selección. La recolección de datos se realizó a través de dos instrumentos el inventario de The Children s Depression Inventory, CDI de Kovacs para identificar las manifestaciones de la depresión y el APGAR familiar para evaluar la dinámica familiar. Resultados: se encontró relación entre la dinámica familiar y manifestaciones de depresión, p = 0,019. La familia normofuncional presenta el mayor número de escolares deprimidos. De los 152 alumnos encuestados, el 48 % respondió Me satisface la forma como mi familia habla de las cosas y comparte los problemas conmigo (cooperación) y un 44,1 %; Me satisface como mi familia expresa afecto y responde a mis emociones de rabia, tristeza y amor (afectividad). De los 53 alumnos que presentaron manifestaciones de depresión, un gran porcentaje respondió a la categoria 2 que indica la ®maxima intensidad del síntoma¼, siendo las más frecuentes pesimismo y aislamiento social. Conclusiones: se encontró asociación entre dinámica familiar y manifestaciones de depresión, siendo el tipo de familia normofuncional en la que predomina, así mismo se encontró asociación entre manifestaciones de depresión y nivel socioeconómico.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To determine the association between family dynamics and manifestations of depression in children aged 13 to 15 years of school ®Vista Alegre 3088¼ Zapallal in the district of Puente Piedra, Lima - Peru in 2009. Material and methods: Descriptive, cross-sectional study of 152 children between the ages of 13 to 15 years, according to selection criteria. The data collection was performed using two instruments the inventory of The Children's Depression Inventory, CDI Kovacs for identify the manifestations of depression and APGAR families to assess family dynamics. Results: Relationship was found between family dynamics and manifestations depression, p=O.O 19. The greater number of depressed children was found in functional families. 48% answered, ®I am satisfied with the way my family talks about things and shares them with me¼ (cooperation); and 44.1 % answered¼I am satisfiedas my family expresses affection and responds to my expressions of anger, sadness and love¼ (affection). 53 students presented manifestations of depression and most indicated the category 2 ®maximum intensity of the symptom¼, the most frequent pessimism and social isolation. Conciusions Relationship was found between the manifestation of depression and family dynamics and socioeconomic level.
