Recasamento: percepções e vivências dos filhos do primeiro casamento / Remarriage: Perceptions and experiences of children from the first marriage

RESUMO

Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo compreender as percepções e as vivências de filhos diante das mudanças ocorridas em suas vidas, no âmbito da convivência familiar, devido ao recasamento de um ou de ambos os pais. É uma pesquisa qualitativa cujos participantes são quatro adultos jovens. Eles responderam a uma entrevista analisada de acordo com a Análise de Conteúdo Temática. Pode-se concluir que, apesar das dificuldades iniciais devido às alterações na estrutura física, na rotina e na dinâmica da casa, com a introdução de novos personagens (padrasto/madrasta, meio-irmãos e irmãos socioafetivos), eles relataram mais aspectos positivos do que negativos nessa configuração, exceto um caso em que a participante apresenta dificuldades na relação com a madrasta...

ABSTRACT

This study sought to comprehend the perceptions and experiences of children faced with changes that occurred in their lives due to the remarriage of one or both parents, in the family life context. It is a qualitative study, the participants of which were four young adults. They took part in an interview that was analyzed using Thematic Content Analysis. It was concluded that, despite the initial difficulties due to changes in the physical structure, in the routine, and in the household dynamics, with the introduction of new characters (stepfather/stepmother, half-siblings and stepsiblings), the participants reported more positive aspects than negative in this configuration, except in one case where the participant presented difficulties in the relationship with the stepmother...
