Subnotificação de maus-tratos em crianças e adolescentes na Atenção Básica e análise de fatores associados / Underreporting of children and adolescents abuse in Primary Care and analysis of factors associated

RESUMO

Estudo transversal que analisou os fatores associados à subnotificação de maus-tratos em crianças e adolescentes. Participaram do estudo 1.055 profissionais que trabalhavam na Atenção Básica em 85 municípios cearenses. Os dados foram obtidos por meio de questionário e submetidos à análise bivariada e multivariada por regressão logística. O modelo final mostrou que ter menos de cinco anos de trabalho, não conhecer a ficha de notificação, não ter a ficha na unidade de saúde, não confiar nos órgãos de proteção, não saber para onde encaminhar os casos e ter medo de envolvimento legal aumentou a chance dos profissionais não notificarem situações de maus-tratos nesse grupo.

ABSTRACT

A cross-sectional study that aimed to analyze the factors associated with the underreporting of maltreatment towards children and adolescents. The study included 1.055 professionals working in Primary Care in 85 municipalities of Ceará. The data was obtained through a questionnaire and submitted to bivariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis. The final model showed that having less than five years of work, not knowing the notification form, not having the record at the health unit, not trusting the protection agencies, not knowing where to refer the cases and fearing legal involvement have increased the chances of professionals not informing situations of abuse in this group.
