Ritos e sociabilidades no torcer coletivo: Um estudo etnográfico em uma torcida do Flamengo / Rituals and social interactions in collective cheer: An ethnographic study of an organized fan of Flamengo soccer club

RESUMO

O objetivo deste artigo é analisar as relações de sociabilidade nos estádios de futebol, a partir da interação de uma torcida organizada. Realizamos uma pesquisa etnográfica durante os jogos do Campeonato Brasileiro de Futebol do ano de 2009. Acompanhamos as interações de uma torcida na preparação dos jogos, durante e após as partidas. Ao final, concluímos que não dá para generalizar todos os torcedores como violentos e que há uma demanda de torcidas com princípios pacíficos. Sugerimos que se busque valorizar os gestos de torcidas pacíficas nos estádios.

ABSTRACT

The aim of this paper is to analyze the relations of sociability in football stadiums, from the interaction of an organized fan. We conducted an ethnographic study during matches of the Brazilian Soccer Championship in 2009. We accompany social interactions of an organized fan in preparation of games, during and after matches. At the end, we conclude that it is not possible to generalize that all fans are violent and that there is a demand for organized supporters with peaceful principles. We suggest search to value the actions of organized supporters peaceful in the stadiums.
