Reflexiones sobre la corrupción: patología mental, social, política y ética / Reflections on corruption as an ethical, political, social and mental pathology

RESUMEN

Se intenta develar lo oculto de la corrupción, definida como la acción de dañar, deteriorar, enfermar y pervertir utilitariamente a alguien, trastocando su identidad, propiciando, consciente y/o inconscientemente, su complicidad. La corrupción elimina los valores creativos de una ética legítima y global y contamina la cultura. Desde el punto de vista psicoanalítico, la corrupción tiene que ver con nuestra historia vincular primigenia. En la potencialidad humana hacia la corrupción existen dos instancias el corromperse reactiva y transitoriamente (acto corrupto) y su adopción y encubrimiento totales (estructura corrupta). La psicopatología política y social es mucho más severa que la individual. La ética implica responsabilizarse por el destino de sí mismo y de los otros y sustenta la creación de un mundo interno que conduce a la salud mental. En tanto que el equilibrio del yo, la instintividad y la conciencia moral dan sentido a la vida humana, se postula que el psicoanálisis puede contribuir a la investigación social, ética y política y participar en la restitución del espíritu individual y colectivo.

ABSTRACT

An attempt is made to uncover the hidden aspects of corruption, defined as the action to damage, deteriorate, sicken and pervert somebody through utilitarian designs, transforming his identity and, consciously or unconsciously, making his complicity possible. Corruption eliminates the creative values of a legitimate and global Ethics, and contaminates culture. From the psychoanalitical perspective, corruption has to do with our primary linking history. In the load of human potential toward corruption, there two instances becoming corrupt reactive and transiently (corrupt act), and its full adoption and coverage (corrupt structure). Social and political psychopathology is much more severe than individual psychopathology. Ethics implies to assume responsibility for the fate of oneself and the others, and underlies the creation of an inner world that leads to mental health. As much as egoÆs balance, instinctiveness and moral conscience provide sense and direction to human life, it is postulated that psychoanalysis can contribute to social, ethical and political research, and participate in the restitution of the individual and collective soul.
