RESUMO
O estudo teve por finalidade avaliar o efeito de umprograma de exercícios físicos em meio líquido sobre acapacidade funcional da marcha hemiparética de indivíduoscom acidente vascular cerebral. Material e Métodos:
Estapesquisa foi desenvolvida por intermédio do modeloexperimental que permitiu avaliar a capacidade funcional damarcha hemiparética de 20 indivíduos com sequelas do AVCatravés do Índice de Marcha Dinâmico.Resultados:
Osparticipantes apresentaram uma média na primeira avaliaçãoigual a 7,95 pontos, na segunda avaliação o desempenho foide 12 pontos, e por fim quando avaliados pela terceira vezapresentaram média igual a 16,5 pontos.Conclusão:
Oprograma de exercícios físicos aumentou a capacidadefuncional da marcha de indivíduos com histórico de AVC,proporcionando melhoria no condicionamento físico e narealização de suas atividades da vida diária...ABSTRACT
