Novas demandas para o fazer do psicólogo clínico no encontro com o social / New demands for the work of the clinical psychologist regarding social issues

RESUMO

Motivado pelas reflexões construídas em pesquisa de dissertação, a qual se voltou para os psicólogos que vinham atuando em instituições e que atendiam famílias em situação de vulnerabilidade social, este artigo pretende tratar das questões que aí emergiram concernentes à necessidade apontada pelos participantes, da construção de novos recursos para atuação quando frente a frente com as questões da vida em situação de vulnerabilidade. Os questionamentos ali levantados, que punham em questão a designação e significação de seu trabalho, podem levar a uma nova configuração para a Psicologia Clínica, nesse caso considerada como Ação Social, aqui apresentada e analisada pelas lentes do Pensamento Sistêmico Novo-Paradigmático, por meio de reflexões e práticas de pesquisadores que o têm como referência

ABSTRACT

Motivated by reflections constructed during the dissertation research, which investigated psychologists who have been working in institutions dedicated to attend families in situations of social vulnerability, this article aims at addressing participants' questions, raised by this observation, concerning the need to create new resources for the psychologist's procedures when facing poverty and social exclusion issues. These questionings, which challenged the representation and significance of their work, can lead to a new setup for Clinical Psychology, considered in this case as Social Action; and are presented and analyzed here based on the reflections and practices of researchers who use as reference the New-Paradigmatic Systemic Thinking
