O ato cirúrgico e as fantasias infantis: uma revisão da literatura / Surgery and childhood fantasies: a literature review

RESUMO

A cirurgia é uma experiência que traz consigo exames incômodos e mal-estares, tornando-se, muitas vezes, incompreensível e traumatizante. Esses procedimentos naturalmente são acompanhados de inúmeras fantasias, que, em alguns casos, podem dificultar o processo cirúrgico e a recuperação do paciente. Este artigo objetivou apresentar uma revisão da literatura realizada no SciELO, LILACS, PePSIC, Index Psi, MEDLINE, COCHRANE, Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde e Portal de Evidências a respeito das publicações sobre a temática da cirurgia infantil, com ênfase nas fantasias. Foram revisados trinta e seis artigos publicados entre os anos de 2000 a 2014, deles 61% envolviam o preparo cirúrgico, com ênfase em ansiedade, estresse e depressão; 36% citavam tipos de fantasias mobilizados pela cirurgia, mas nenhum sede dicava a aprofundar essa temática. Partindo-se da hipótese de que as fantasias no momento pré-cirúrgico seria um assunto bastante estudado, evidenciou-se a importância da realização de estudos mais aprofundados sobre esse tema...

ABSTRACT

Surgery is an experience that brings uncomfortable examinations and discomfortand often becomes an incomprehensible and traumatic experience. These procedures are naturally accompanied by numerous fantasies, in turn, can hinder the surgical procedure and patient recovery. This paper aims to present a literature review of SciELO, LILACS, PepsiC, Index Psi, MEDLINE, COCHRANE, Virtual Health Library and Evidence Portal about the publications on the topic of pediatric surgery, with an emphasis on fantasies. Thirty-six articles, published between 2000 and 2014,were reviewed. 61% studies involving surgical preparation, with an emphasis on attributes such as anxiety, stress anddepression. 36%of these cited fantasies caused by surgery, but not one of them was dedicated to develop this issue.
