ABSTRACT
Introduction:
Pediatric population is more prone for foreignbody aspiration. It is a preventablecause of mortality andmorbidity in children. Stone aspiration is one of the rarecauses foreign body aspiration in bothchildren and adults.Case Report We present a 1-year old child who had historyand examination suggestive of pneumonia which turned outto be a foreign body in left bronchus on chest x-ray PA. Theforeign body was removed by flexible bronchoscopy withoutany complication.Conclusion:
The child’s symptoms improved satisfactorilyfollowing removal. History is vital and can guide treatment incase of foreign body aspiration.
