ABSTRACT

Chronic pain, depression, anxiety, somatoform disorders and hypochondria frequently coexist in the elderly,these symptoms make sleep disorders worse,social and live ability decrease in vicious cycle.Multiaspect treatment including physiological,psychological and behaviour therapy at the same time provides an effective method to chronic pain in the elderly in view of close relationship between pain and mental hygiene.
