ABSTRACT
Objective]Explore the origin of Lv Shantang Academy of classical learning in Ming and Qing Dynasties ,as well as its teaching methods, understand the historical significance of Lv Shantang Academy of classical learning in the Chinese medical history .[Method] With the research methods of history and philology, collecting all Lv ShanTang Academy of classical learning medical articles, by paying attention to Lv Shantang Doctor, teaching, cinic, writing, etc,and studying its orgin, development and characteristic. [Results]The teaching idea rooting in the Lu Zhiyi ’s medical spirit who living in Ming Dynasty,set up by Zhang Zhicong who was the hard core of of Qiantang Yipai, situated in the foot of the Xushan hill. Zhang Zhicong and his students had written, taught, treated diseases, was the main stage of studying.Because of Lv Shantang, many talented people from medicine field gathered and physicians assembled to Qiantang.The doctors in Lv Shantang Academy of classical medical learning inheriting Chinese medicine, attaching importance to the classics , learning widely from others' strong points, drawing on the wisdom of the masses,writing together, teaching benefits teachers as well as students ,learning by doing clinic,paying much attention to clinic, alleviating suffering people.[Conclusion] The doctors in Lv Shantang studying ,teaching, combining theory with clinical practice, making tremendous contributions to inheritance and development of Chinese medical classics.The Lv Shantang medical spirit handed down from generation to generation, even to this day,is celebrated by practitioners of later generations. Studing on Lv Shantang Academy of classical medical Learning do have significant historical significance.
