ABSTRACT

Objective:

To further probe into mechanism and essence of blood stasis from gene level.

Methods:

160 cases of hypertension and type Ⅱ diabetes with blood stasis or no blood stasis were strictly selected according to criteria of diagnosis and by combination of diseases with syndrome, and expressions of c-fos, c-jun and CD62p genes were investigated, compared and analyzed with healthy persons as controls.

Results:

There were abnormal expressions of c-fos,c-jun and CD62p genes in the patient with blood stasis, and there were close relation of the abnormality and expression levels of the genes with various types of blood stasis.

Conclusion:

Genomics is the best way for studies of essence of blood stasis syndrome, which can enrich and develop basic theory of TCM and provide a basis of molecular biology for clinical therapeutics of TCM.
