ABSTRACT

[Objective]To investigate the therapeutic effects of treating chronic pelvic inflammation with combined traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and western medicine (WM). [Methods]500 patients in hospital were divided randomly into two groupscontrol group and treating group.Each group included 250 cases.The contral group were treated with anti-by veins for one week.the treating group were treated with antibiotics by vein and herbs Yupeng Tang by enema.The change of symptoms,signs and Ultra-B were observed before and after treatment.[Results]56 cases were cured ,102 cases had remarked effect ,91 cases had therapeutic effect,the total effective rate was 99.6% in treating group.However ,20 cases were cured,41 cases had remarked effect,135 cases had therapeutic effect ,the total effective rate was 78.4% in control group.
