ABSTRACT
Objective:
To compare the experience obtained in allogenic and autologous blood transfusion used in hip arthroplasty.Methods:
188 cases of hip arthroplasty were retrospectively analyzed,and the patients were divided into three groups.Group A(62 patients)received preoperative storage and transfusion of autologous blood during the operation.Group B(76 patients) received reinfusion of shed blood during the operation.Group C(50 patients)only received allogenic blood transfusion.Results:
In group A and B,64.5%(40/62) and 61.8%(47/76)of the patients,respectively passed perioperative period successfully without allogenic blood transfusion.However the proportion in group C was 32%(16/50).The quantity of allogenic blood transfusion used in Group C was significantly higher than that in Group A and B(P
