Objective:To investigate the change and significance of interleukin-8 (IL-8) and intercellular adhesion molecule-1(ICAM-1) in periheral blood of 41 healthy and 63 patients with liver cirrhosis. Methods: The serum level of TNF-?and IL-8 was analyzed using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).The serum level of sICAM-1 was determined using flow cytometry.
