Simultaneous Determination of Five Components in Compound Paracetamol Vitamin C Yinqiao Tablets by HPLC-DAD / 中国药师

ABSTRACT

Objective:

To simultaneously detect five components (phillyrin, chlorogenic acid, chlorpheniramine maleate, vitamin C and acetaminophen) in compound paracetamol vitamin C Yinqiao tablets.

Methods:

Using a Waters Xselect C18 column(250 mm×4.6 mm, 5 μm), the mobile phase consisted of acetonitril-0.1 mol·L-1 NaH2PO4(pH 3.0) with gradient elution at a flow rate of 1.0 ml·min-1.The detection wavelength was 230 nm and the column temperature was 35℃.

Results:

The linear range of vitamin C, acetaminophen, chlorogenic acid, chlorphenamine maleate and phillyrin was 0.500-200.200, 0.499-199.600, 0.501-200.100, 0.502-200.900 and 0.488-195.400 μg·ml-1(r>0.999), respectively.The average recovery was 99.3%(RSD=1.5%), 97.8%(RSD=1.7%), 98.5%(RSD=1.1%), 97.1%(RSD=1.7%)and 99.8%(RSD=1.2%)(n=9), respectively.

Conclusion:

The simple and sensitive method can be applied in the quality control of compound paracetamol vitamin C Yinqiao tablets.
