ABSTRACT
To investigate the treatment of hyperthyroidism complicated with pretibial myxedema. Three patients with hyperthyroidism complicated with pretibial myxedema were treated with topical injection of corticosteroid at the skin lesion. All 3 patients were cured with pretibial mucous edema by local injection of corticosteroids. Multi-point injection of glucocorticoid combined with maintaining euthyroid state is effective and has little side effect.[Summary] To investigate the treatment of hyperthyroidism complicated with pretibial myxedema.
