ABSTRACT
Visual case teaching, based on mini-lesson video, can restore the real context of language use, providing sufficient materials without time and location restriction for language teaching. PAD Class is to allocate traditional teaching steps, which are divided into three parts (presentation-assimilation-discussion) in class. The teacher's presentation and students' discussion are separated to cultivate students' ability to think. The combination of visual case and PAD class can achieve the purpose of advantage complementation: improving comprehensive English skills, acquiring professional knowledge, developing critical thinking and enhancing teaching result of ESP.
