ABSTRACT
This single-dose study demonstrate the analgesic efficacy of zomepirac sodium in post-operative pain. Total Pain Relief afforded by zomepirac sodium 100 mg was significantly better than mefenamic acid 500 mg. Pain Intensity Difference scores likewise showed that the zomepirac sodium 100 mg was significantly better than zomepirac sodium 50 mg. zomepirac sodium 25 mg and placebo treatmentsThese results further support previous reports that zomepirac sodium is a safe and effective analgesic in the treatment of moderate to severe post-operative pain.
