A dança flamenca em Londrina ­ Paraná / The flamenco dance in Londrina ­ Paraná

RESUMO

Este estudo investigou as manifestações da dança flamenca em Londrina no Paraná. Especificamente elaborou uma revisão teórica da sua história; identificou a existência de grupos de dança flamenca, suas produções e ressignificações culturais. Teve como procedimento de coleta de dados a análise documental e a entrevista semiestruturada. A amostra foi constituída pelos registros sobre a dança flamenca em Londrina no Jornal Folha de Londrina de 1980 a 2010. Com base na análise de conteúdo temática verificou-se a existência de três grupos. Foram entrevistados os coordenadores dos grupos presentes na cidade. Concluiu-se que a manifestação da dança flamenca se concretiza pela interpretação e ressignificação de suas tradições de origem por meio de temáticas históricas e sociais, proporcionando vivências e experiências lúdicas nos espaços de lazer da cidade.

ABSTRACT

This study investigated the manifestations of flamenco dance in Londrina, Paraná. Specifically elaborated a theoretical revision of the history; identified the existence of flamenco dance groups, their productions and cultural re-significances. Documentary analysis and semi-structured interviews were used as data collection procedures. The sample was constituted by the records on the flamenco dance in Londrina in the Folha de Londrina Journal from 1980 to 2010. Based on the thematic content analysis, three groups were found. The coordinators of the groups were interviewed that are present in the city. It was concluded that the manifestation of the flamenco dance is concretized by the interpretation and re-signification of its traditions of origin through historical and social themes, providing experiences and playful experiences in the leisure spaces of the city.
