SATISFAÇÃO DOS FAMILIARES DE NEONATOS INTERNADOS EM UNIDADES DE TERAPIA INTENSIVA NEONATAL / SATISFACTION OF THE FAMILIES OF NEONATES INTERNED IN NEONATAL INTENSIVE CARE UNITS

RESUMO

Objetivos: Analisar a satisfação dos familiares de crianças internadas em Unidade de Terapia Intensiva Neonatal de dois hospitais da rede pública da região metropolitana da cidade de Porto Alegre. Metodologia: estudo transversal, descritivo, com abordagem quantitativa, realizado com 66 familiares, por meio do Inventário de Necessidades e Estressores de Familiares em Terapia Intensiva. A análise estatística foi realizada com auxilio do software SPSS versão 21. O estudo recebeu aval ético da Faculdade Inedi -CAAE (80835417.5.0000.5665). Resultados: a média dos scores dos itens de satisfação e importância variou de 3,94 a 2,41 para os familiares da instituição A e de 3,88 a 2,40 para os da B. Houve diferença significativa na satisfação de sentir-se aceito pelas pessoas/funcionários do hospital, sendo a satisfação média mais elevada no hospital A. Conclusões: a realização deste trabalho permitiu conhecer as reais necessidades e os sentimentos dos familiares de neonatos internados na NEO.

ABSTRACT

Aim: To analyze the satisfaction of the relatives of children hospitalized in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of two public hospitals in the metropolitan region of the city of Porto Alegre. Methodology: cross-sectional, descriptive study with a quantitative approach performed with 66 family members, measured by Inventory of Needs and Stressors of Families in Intensive Care. Statistical analysis was performed with SPSS software version 21. The study received ethical endorsement from the Faculty Inedi -CAAE (80835417.5.0000.5665). Results: the mean scores of the items of satisfaction and importance ranged from 3.94 to 2.41 for relatives of institution A and from 3.88 to 2.40 for those of B. There was a significant difference in satisfaction of feeling accepted by hospital personnel / employees, with the highest average satisfaction in hospital A. Conclusions: the realization of this work allowed to know the real needs and feelings of the relatives of newborns admitted to the NEO.
