ABSTRACT

The present clinical study was performed to comparatively assess the therapeutic effect of Low and High Molecular Weight Chitosan (LMWCh and HMWCh), hexetidine, triclosan. Plaque index, saliva buffering capacity and bacteriological controls for S. mutans and lactobacilli, were performed.
