Regulação dos leitos de UTI- SUS no Estado de Goiás / Regulation of UTI-SUS beds in the State of Goiás

RESUMO

O objetivo da Unidade de Terapia Intensiva (UTI) é prover suporte médico e tecnológico de alta complexidade, de modo temporário, para pacientes graves ou potencialmente graves, avaliados conforme critérios médicos. O tratamento em terapia intensiva é uma modalidade avançada e indispensável da medicina atual e deve estar acessível a todo paciente com real indicação (PERNAMBUCO, 2019). A programação das internações realizadas em leitos complementares (categorias onde se encontram os leitos de unidade de tratamento intensiva e semi-intensiva e os de Isolamento) deve ser orientada de forma descendente, por estarem concentradas em pólos, o recurso financeiro é alocado nos municípios que possuem estes serviços, com definição das respectivas abrangências, mantendo consonância com a regionalização vigente (BRASIL, 2006).

ABSTRACT

The objective of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is to provide medical and technological support of high complexity, on a temporary basis, for critically ill or potentially serious patients, evaluated according to medical criteria. Intensive care treatment is an advanced and indispensable modality of current medicine and must be accessible to every patient with a real indication (PERNAMBUCO, 2019). The schedule of hospitalizations carried out in complementary beds (categories where the beds of the intensive and semi-intensive treatment unit and those of Isolation are located) must be oriented in a descending way, as they are concentrated in centers, the financial resource is allocated in the municipalities that have these services, with definition of the respective scope, keeping in line with the current regionalization (BRAZIL, 2006).
