Emoções, gênero e pandemia: uma leitura do yoga online no processo civilizador / Emotions, gender and pandemic: a reading of yoga online in the civilizing process

RESUMO

Esse estudo objetiva analisar os elementos configuracionais que sustentam a prática do yoga online durante a pandemia da Covid-19, a fim de compreender em que estágio do processo civilizador tal prática é possível e exigida, quais os seus elementos civilizadores e porque eles surgem e se tornam importantes na configuração contemporânea. A partir da análise dos dados produzidos na aplicação de um questionário online; do empirismo crítico feminista de Donna Haraway e da teoria do processo civilizador de Elias, elencamos três categorias que perfazem a configuração do yoga online emoções, saúde e ambiente doméstico. Após, repercutimos o yoga como um produto do processo civilizador que atende à necessidade de sublimar as emoções dos sujeitos na configuração pandêmica.

ABSTRACT

This study aims to analyze the configurational elements that support the practice of online yoga during the Covid-19 pandemic, in order to understand at what stage of the civilizing process such a practice is possible and required, what are its civilizing elements and why they arise and if become important in the contemporary setting. From the analysis of the data produced in the application of an online questionnaire; from Donna Haraway's feminist critical empiricism and Elias' theory of the civilizing process, we list three categories that make up the configuration of online yoga emotions, health and home environment. Afterwards, we reflect on yoga as a product of the civilizing process that meets the need to sublimate the emotions of subjects in the pandemic configuration.
