Ser-no-mundo da criança/adolescente que convive com irmão com deficiência: uma abertura para a autenticidade / Being-in-the-world of the child/adolescent who lives with a brother with disabilities: an opening for authenticity

RESUMO

A criança/adolescente constitui-se pelas relações que estabelece ao longo de sua trajetória existencial. Este estudo objetivou compreender o ser-no-mundo da criança/adolescente que convive com o irmão com deficiência. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo, à luz da abordagem fenomenológica e hermenêutica. O cenário de estudo foi a Associação de Pais e Amigos dos Excepcionais (APAE) de um município da região noroeste do estado do Rio Grande do Sul - Brasil. Os participantes envolvidos foram crianças e adolescentes com idade entre 7 e 18 anos que convivem com o irmão com deficiência, sendo dez (10) crianças e dez (10) adolescentes. A busca das informações ocorreu por meio da entrevista fenomenológica, realizada na APAE e domicílio do participante, conforme sua preferência, entre os meses de novembro/2018 e março/2019. Os encontros foram gravados em áudio MP4 e, posteriormente, transcritos. Para a interpretação das informações utilizou-se a hermenêutica de Paul Ricoeur. O projeto foi aprovado pelo Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), sob o Parecer no 2.958.289 de 11 de outubro de 2018. Foram respeitados os aspectos éticos da Resolução 466/12 inerentes à pesquisa envolvendo seres humanos. Ao interpretar as informações, emergiu o capítulo Buscando compreender o ser-no-mundo da criança/adolescente que convive com o irmão com deficiência, assim organizado O cotidiano; Percepção de si; Situações de vulnerabilidade e Cuidado no mundo da família participação da criança/adolescente. Nesta premissa, compreende-se que o cotidiano da criança/adolescente que convive com o irmão com deficiência não difere do cotidiano daquelas que não vivenciam tal condição. Todavia, estes sentem falta de atenção, em especial da família, visto que a atenção é direcionada ao irmão com deficiência. Ainda, neste contexto sentem falta dos avós que faleceram, os quais prestavam cuidados a estes. Na espiritualidade e religiosidade buscam forças por acreditarem em milagres que possam melhorar a condição existencial dos irmãos. Estes podem vivenciar situações de vulnerabilidade por não compreender o que está acontecendo com o irmão. Alguns não participam da vida social em detrimento do irmão, e, em relação aos serviços de saúde existem lacunas no que tange ao desenvolvimento de políticas públicas. Vivenciam ainda sentimentos ambivalentes em relação ao irmão. Contudo, ajudam a mãe a cuidar do irmão, o protegem do estigma social e o veem como uma criança normal. Diante disso, acredita-se que conviver com o irmão com deficiência não difere de uma criança/adolescente que não vivencia tal situação, o que o diferencia é a condição existencial. Neste sentido, este tem a possibilidade de descobrir-se como ser autêntico e tomar atitudes perante a vida. Acredita-se que o cuidado de enfermagem centrado na família com ênfase no contexto da criança/adolescente que convive com o irmão com deficiência poderá trazer um olhar inovador no processo de cuidar em saúde.

ABSTRACT

The child/adolescent is made of the relations established by them, along their existential trajectory. This study aimed to understand the being-in-the-world of the child/adolescent who lives with the brother with disabilities. This is a qualitative study, based on the theoretical- methodological perspective of phenomenological and hermeneutics approach. The scenario of the study was the Association of Parents and Friends of Exceptional Children (APAE) of a municipality in the northwest of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The participants were children and adolescents aged between 7 and 18 years who live with the brother with disabilities, being ten (10) children and ten (10) adolescents. The search for information occurred through the phenomenological interview, held in the APAE and at the participant's house, depending on their preference, between November/2018 and March/2019. The meetings were recorded as MP4 audio, and later transcribed. Information interpretation used Paul Ricoeur's hermeneutics. The project was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), under opinion n. 2.958.289, issued on 11 October 2018. The complied with the ethical aspects of Resolution 466/12 relating to research involving human beings. When interpreting the information, the following chapter emerged Seeking to understand being-in-the- world the child/adolescent who lives with the brother with disabilities, with four dimensions, thus organized The routine; Perception of themselves; Situations of vulnerability and Care in the family world participation of the child/adolescent. In this context, the everyday life of the child/adolescent who lives with the brother with disabilities does not differ from the everyday life of children/adolescents who does not experience this condition. However, they miss attention, from the family, since the attention is directed to the brother with disabilities. In this context, they miss their deceased grandparents, who used to take care of them. In spirituality and religiousness, they seek strength because they believe in miracles that can improve the existential condition of their brothers. These can experience situations of vulnerability by not understanding what is happening with the brother. Some have no social life at the expense of their brother, and, in relation to health services, there are gaps in terms of the development of public policies. They also experience ambivalent feelings in relation to their brother. Nevertheless, they help the mother take care of their brother, protect him against social stigma and see him as a normal child. In addition, living with a disabled brother does not differ from a child/teenager who does not experience such situation, differing only in relation to the existential condition. In this sense, they have the possibility of discovering themselves as authentic and act toward life. The nursing care centered on the family with emphasis in the context of the child/adolescent who lives with the brother with disabilities can bring an innovative look at the healthcare process.
