Reflexões teóricas sobre o cotidiano e a geografia no envelhecimento humano / Theoretical reflections about daily life and geography in human aging

RESUMO

O presente artigo foi construído como um exercício de reflexão teórica com base na leitura do mundo atual como expressão da modernidade em transformação. Nesse sentido, o envelhecimento humano foi trabalhado a partir da construção de cotidiano que emerge na modernidade e influencia diretamente na leitura dos processos socioespaciais. Inexoravelmente, a reflexão sobre o mundo e os processos relacionados a dinâmica do mundo são, em essência, geográficos, uma vez que toda ação social e realizada em um mundo real e concreto. Pensar a contemporaneidade, entre outras possibilidades, exige reflexões sobre o concebido, o percebido e o vivido, o que nos leva a recorrer a vida cotidiana, em sentido amplo, como categoria central da reflexão, uma vez que ela nos ajuda a entender os mecanismos de reprodução social que revelam as possibilidades e impossibilidades de realização da vida em seus diferentes níveis. Por isso, assumimos que as reflexões entre cotidiano e geografia podem, se utilizadas com cuidado, ajudar na interpretação do mundo atual, com particular interesse, da velhice e do processo de envelhecimento. Este exercício pressupõe analisar vínculos e comportamentos para além do aparente, evidenciando os processos de forma sincrônica e diacrônica, recuperando os nexos e as contradições da reprodução da vida em sociedade, para além do imediatamente aparente e estrutural.

ABSTRACT

This article was built as a theoretical reflection exercise based on the reading of the present world as an expression of modernity in transformation, in this sense, the human aging was worked from the daily construction that emerges in modernity and directly influences the interpretation of government socio-spatial. Inexorably, the reflection on the world and the world’s dynamics related processes are geographically essencial, since all social action is performed in a real and concrete world and. To think contemporary, among other possibilities, requires reflections on the conceived, the perceived and the lived. This brings us to everyday life, in a broad sense, as a central category of reflection, since it helps us to understand the social reproduction mechanisms that reveal the possibilities and impossibilities of life achievement in different levels, so we assume the reflections between everyday and geography can, if used carefully, assist in the interpretation of today’s world, with particular interest of old age and the aging process. This exercise analyzes links and behaviors beyond the apparent, showing the processes of synchronic and diachronic way, recovering the connections and contradictions of reproduction of society, beyond the immediately apparent and structural.
