Queimaduras: manejo cirúrgico / Burns: surgical management

RESUMO

O papel do tratamento cirúrgico nas queimaduras se resume às fases inicial/aguda e Tardia. O papel do médico na fase aguda (até 72h) é tratar o ferimento, retirando tecidos necróticos, realizar curativo adequado, preservar órgãos vitais e evitar futuros danos previsíveis, além de evitar a infecção da ferida. O tratamento tardio visa através da reconstrução cirurgica melhorar a função da área queimada e melhorar o resultado estético do dano causado pela queimadura.

ABSTRACT

The role of surgical treatment in the burn comes down to the early/acute and Late treatment. The doctor's role in the acute phase (up to 72h) is to treat the wound, removing necrotic tissue, perform adequate dressing, preserving vital organs and prevent future foreseeable damage, and prevent wound infection. The late treatment aims through surgical reconstruction to improve the function of the burned area and improve the aesthetic result of damage caused by burns.
