Synthesis of some psoralene derivatives with potential biological activities

ABSTRACT

A variety of chemical reactions of 9-allyloxy-psoralene and its derivatives was described. These reactions include nitration, bromination, reduction and thionation. 5-allyl-9-hydroxypsoralene is prepared via Claisen-p-migration of 9-allyloxypsoralene and some of its reactions with alkyl halides, alkyl- and aryl-isocyanates were described
