ABSTRACT

The effect of hay processing on the infective stage of Strongylus vulgaris and Toxocara vitulorum eggs was studied. Indeed the infective stage of S. vulgaris appeared to be resistant and approximately 35% of the larvae survived in hay but Toxocara vitulorum eggs were rapidly destroyed
