Incidental carcinoma in situ arising in a supernumerary breast

ABSTRACT
Supernumerary nipple and breast is a relatively common finding in women and it is subject to the same diseases as normal breast and nipple. Twenty year- old unmarried college student, with an asymptomatic supernumerary breast and nipple, consult for cosmetic purposes. The histopathological assessment of the excised breast revealed a focus of Duct Carcinoma in Situ [DCIS]. A review of the pathology of DCIS is presented and the problem is discussed
