ABSTRACT
A thermotolerant fungus, Aspergillus fumigatus synthesized higher quantities of carbohydrates, lipids and proteins when cultivated at 45C than at 30C. Several amino acids were detected in the amino acids pool of the fungus, cultivated at 45C but not at 30C; lysine, ethyl- asparagine, methylcysteine methyl-glutamic acid and alpha amino adipic acid. While gamma-amino isobutyric acid and hydroxy norvaline were detected only at 30C. Several protein bands were detected in fungal extract grown at 45C while less were detected in fungal extract grown at 35 and 30C. Exogenous supplementation with various amino acids showed an increase in the fungal thermophily
