ABSTRACT
After a review of literature, a clinical report will discuss the management of a rare case of supernumerary teeth identified as compound composite odontoma. In this orthodontic case, a significant delay in tooth eruption of the right maxillary central and lateral permanent incisors was the chief complaint. Further clinical and radiological investigations were undertaken, and a combined orthodontic-surgical approach was decided by means of an atraumatic surgery, an adequate control of gingival inflammation and use of minimal orthodontic forces in order to ensure a higher percentage of success in terms of esthetics, occlusion and periodontal health
