ABSTRACT
Eighteen eyes of failed trabeculectomy operation were reoperated upon following a modified procedure. Fifteen eyes were successfuly controlled for follow up period 6 months. Two eyes practiced secondary rise of tension. One of them could be controlled by local medications while the other one was reoperated upon following the modified procedure at another site. The remaining eye showed early shallow anterior chamber and hypotony, then the IOP became normal with reestablishement of filtration. The described technique can be considered as a good solution for the treatment of failed trabeculectomy cases
