ABSTRACT
This review article focuses on a rare disease, osteogenesis imperfecta, which may be encountered during practice. The causes, pathology and modalities of management are reviewed with special emphasis on intramedullary fixation for stabilization of long bone fractures to improve the quality of life of the patient
