Hydrogen sulfide and organic compounds removal in municipal wastewater using ferrate [VI] and ultraviolet radiation

Background: in this study, ferrate [VI] and ultraviolet [UV] radiation were employed to remove hydrogen sulfide from municipal wastewater resulting in a reduction in chemical oxygen demand [COD].
