ABSTRACT
9 patients were treated for neovascular glaucoma. In 7 eyes the neovascular glaucoma was due to central retinal vein thrombosis, while in two eyes it was due to ocular complications of diabetes mellitus. Panretinal photocoagulation and goniophotocoagulation were applied for all cases followed by controlled subscleral trabeculectomy and subconjunctival 5-FU administration. Control of intraocular pressure and relief of pain were achieved in 7 eyes [77.8 percent]. In two eyes [22.2 percent], the I.O.P. was under control with additional medications. The follow up period ranged between 6 months to 3 years
