For over two years, the authors have observed the clinical and biological development of early syphilis on 299 patients infected between 1971 and 1979 and treated by a single injection of Benzathine-Penicilline 2 400 000. The serological negativisation has been obtained in the proportions as follow - 95,30% of primary syphilis [blood test positive]. - 90% of secondary syphilis. - 77,4% of latent syphilis.
