Synthesis of 1,3,4-thiadiazen [5,6-c], imidazole [4,5-c] and pyrano [4,3-b] quinoline derivatives

ABSTRACT

TN continuation of our work to find new flat and more active quinoline derivatives with lower side effects, we synthesized some quinoline-fused-heterocycles which possess biological activities such as thiadiazene; cardiac stimulant in cats[1], imidazole; an inotropic, bronchodilator and phosphodiestrase inhibitor[1] and pyrane; which has antiasthmatic effect [2]. In the present work we synthesized 2-imino-5-methyl 1-1, 3, 4-thiadiaze-no [5, 6-c] quinoline-4-N-oxide [IV], 4-methyl-3-hydroxy-2-phenylimidazo-lo [4, 5-c] quinoline [V] and 3-[4-dimethylaminophenyl]-10-hydroxydihy-dropyrano 4, 3-b quinoline [VI]
