ABSTRACT
From the caves inhabited by bats in Sakkara region, 100 bats were collected for studying whether these bats are carrier for H. Capsulatum or not. All the examined cultures from the bats' internal organs were negative for H. Capsulatum. This study suggests the rarity of histoplasmosis in this area
