ABSTRACT

A pharmacognostical study comprising macro- and micromorphological investigations, preliminary phytochemical screening, proximate analysis and TLC investigation of successive extractives of leaf and fruit of Fumaria parviflora Lam. growing in Egypt is presented. Macro- and micromorphological characteristics were found diagnostic and helpful in identifying both organs as well as differentiating them from other closely related species both in the entire powdered forms
