ABSTRACT
The activity of garlic extract, propionic aid, sodium benzoate and aflagin against the fungi contaminating cow and poultry feedstuffs was studied using glucoseczapeks's agar. It was found that both garlic extract and propionic acid caused a direct complete growth inhibition of all tested fungi at the levels of 0.5% g per 100 ml medium [0.5 w/v] and 0.15% [w.v]. The counts of total and individual fungals species were almost significant lowered when sodium benzoate or aflagin were incorporated in the agar medium at the levels of 2.0% [w/v] and 0.4% [w/v], respectively
