ABSTRACT
This work showed that the validity of the Doppler ultrasound is reliable method in estimation of cardiac output, in comparison with thermodilution method as a gold standard for estimation of cardiac output. 20 patients were studied. All patients had ischemic heart diseases, they were classified into 2 groups. Group I, with stable angina associated with unequivocal changes characteristics myocardial ischemia. Group II, those who were admitted to CCU with MI. The results revealed the validity of echo-Doppler as bed side technique is evaluation of LV functions, especially COP, in patients with LHD and no statistically results significantly between echo-Doppler and thermodilution
