Traumatic soft-tissue nasal arterio-venous fistula. a case report and literature review

ABSTRACT

We report the first case of a traumatic soft-tissue nasal arterio-venous malformation following nasal injury without clinical and radiological evidence of fracture of the nasal bones. This case was treated at Mosul Teaching Hospital by surgical excision. In this report, we describe the clinical presentation, anatomy, pathophysiology and management of such case. A review of the literature on this rare and unusual condition is presented
