Tuberous sclerosis in children

ABSTRACT

Thirteen children [7 females and 6 males] with tuberous sclerosis are reported. The mean age of presentation was 6 years with a range of 14 months - 12 years. Seizures were the mode of presentation in all the patients. All patients had skin lesions. Mental retardation was seen in 70% of the cases while cardiac involvement was observed in 3 cases. Family history was positive in only two cases
