ABSTRACT
Fifty females, divided into three groups according to BMI, were studied to investigate the relationship of plasma Leptin with BMI. Plasma Leptin levels were significantly higher [P< 0.001] in obese female group III [BMI>30] than both normal weight group II [BMI > 20 <25] and under weight group I [BMI <20]. These results suggested that plasma Leptin was positively correlated with BMI and reflect the amount of the total body fat
