The objective of this program is the acquisition of deep knowledge to basics of comparative anatomy of the domestic animals. The program is developed as a helpful adjunct for the users [e. g. students and veterinarians] to learn osteology and splanchnology, as well as for instructors who can use the contents in teaching. Anatomy of the horse was used as a model, in addition to anatomy of other animals. Use of interactive multimedia technology was demonstrated in many forms like digital images, narration, animation, real video, screen captured video, virtual reality und text. All these multimedia elements were combined to provide an engaging and realistic laboratory environment. The student can run the tests, examine results and evaluate himself. This work is a stride in build a comprehensive electronic library to which students can refer over and over again
