Two dimensional sector scan echocardiographic profile of total anomalous pulmonary venous connections

ABSTRACT

Sixteen patients aged 3 days to 5 months are included in this study of Cardiac catheterization proven cases of TAPVC in order to validate 2-D Echocardiographic imaging in this condition. It is shown that 2-D Echocardiography provides detailed anatomic imaging of CPVC and its afferent and efferent connections in various types of TAPVC.
