ABSTRACT
48 cases of <Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic purpura > [ITEP] were collected in the CHU Ibn Rochd of Casablanca. Patients aged from 2 and half to 58 years. The initial thrombocytopenia was deep [= 10000/mm[3] in 60% of the cases and responsible for a serious haemorragic syndrome in 25% of the cases. A year after the evolution, 68.75% of the cases are complete remission and 4,34% died. The ITP is a benign, frequent and of an easy diagnosis disease. Nevertheless, it's difficult to foresce its acute [39,6%] or chronic [33,3%] evolution and to determine the etiology and therapeutic methods. An analysis of the literature shows various therapeutics methods which are not yet codified. The indication of steroid medications, splenectomy, immunosupressive drugs and the other, therapeutics according to age is still debated for this disease which remission and recovery rates are still insufficient [60 to 70%] for a benign disease
