ABSTRACT
Anterior radial keratotomy was performed on the right eye of twenty adult healthy Chinchilla rabbits. A 3 mm optical zone at the center of the cornea was marked and 4 to 8 incisions were made with the super-blade. The incisions were approximately 0.5 mm deep and they extended from the central circle to just within the limbus. Electron microscopic examination of the cornea was done at different times from the operation. Findings obtained are thoroughly presented and discussed
