In vitro studies on antibacterial effect of rhizome extracts from Zingiber officinale Rosc.

ABSTRACT

The antibacterial effect of various extracts of rhizome from Zingiber officinale Rosc. was tested against some bacteria viz., Bacillus subtilis, Enterococcus faecalis, Staphylococcus aureus, Proteus vulgaris and Escherichia coil.
